Our Commitment

Our Commitment to Our Students

At the Institute of Research and Learning (IRLearning), we’re committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for every student. We believe learning works best when people feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.

Our commitment goes beyond compliance, we aim to foster a culture where student wellbeing, safety, and success are central to everything we do. This includes strong policies that uphold child safety, cultural safety, and fairness for all learners.

Our Commitment to Child Safety
IRLearning is committed to providing a child safe environment for all students and participants. We uphold the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse or harm.

We actively work to create a culture where children and young people feel safe, supported, and empowered. Our policies, procedures, and training are designed to prevent harm and ensure appropriate action is taken when concerns arise. Every member of our team has a responsibility to uphold child safety, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Our Commitment to Cultural Safety
IRLearning acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and learn. We are committed to fostering culturally safe and inclusive environments for all students, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Our Cultural Safety Framework supports respectful relationships, strengthens cultural capability across our team, and ensures that learners feel valued, respected, and included. We believe cultural safety is essential to quality education and meaningful engagement.
